The Te Akau School Board of Trustees has a strong record of governance since boards were established in 1989.
We prioritise strong relationships—with our Principal, staff, and the wider community—to support an inclusive, well-rounded curriculum that reflects the diverse strengths and cultures of our students. 

Our responsibilities include submitting an Annual Charter and Plan, overseeing financial management, and conducting self-reviews to continuously improve student achievement, policies, and resources.

We are always open to feedback, ideas, and conversations—our doors are open, and we welcome discussions with parents, students, and the community.
